Youth against corruption

April 2014-December 2014


With the support of the OSCE office in Yerevan the organization is implementing “Youth against Corruption” project. The objectives of the project are to form analytical and constructive thinking, intolerant attitude toward corruption, as well as to form team –building skills and civic activism among the youth at the age of 17-23.

Youth to Youth

May 2014-June 2015


With the support of US Embassy the organization is implementing “Youth to Youth” project. The objectives of project are to raise the awareness on democratic values, human rights  and leadership among the  youth at the age of 14-18, as well as to teach the participants to raise their  own  concerns in their communities and make their own proposals how to solve them.

 

 

Your vote is your future

December 2012- March 2012

The project is part of the larger project on “Support to two electoral cycles in Armenia” financed by the European Union and implemented by the OSCE Office in Yerevan. 
During implementation the project involved four educational establishments (High school after Heraci, high school #83, musical school after A. Babajanyan and high school of Nor Hachn (Kotayk marz) for around 200  students in the age of 16-18. The project activities included five day training sessions, discussions, interschool debates, election games, tripartite discussions (student-teacher-parent), student craft contest  “Transparent elections”.

 

World Refugee Day

With the support of the UNHCR  the organization is celebrating World Refugee Day which is aimed discovering children’s and adolescents' potential and commitment to promote awareness raising on refugee cause, to protect and support refugees and to develop tolerant attitude and mutual respect toward them.
Within the framework of the project trainings, discussions were organized  in No 30  high school in Yerevan for 60 participants. During the training participants gained knowledge on refugees and asylum seekers. They also were informed on refugees’ rights in Armenian and other countries.
At the end of the project the press conference was organized  at a press club and  “World Refugee Day” march and flash mob were organized with the participation of project participants in Yerevan streets.

 

Youth against corruption
July 2012- October 2012

With the support of the OSCE Office in Yerevan the organization is implementing "Youth against Corruption" project. 40 youngsters have participated in the project which was implemented in Yerevan. Within the framework of the project anticorruption trainings, discussions were organized for youngsters.  "Youth Against Corruption" project participants investigated the anti-corruption strategies of different countries which helped to decrease the corruption’s risks. 

 

"At the Crossroads of Skills"

October 2010- August 2011

From October 1, 2010 "The Future is Yours" social charitable NGO with the financial support of the "HSBC Global Education Trust Future First" project has started "At the Crossroads of Skills" project. The aim of the project is to develop professional skills of sewing, cooking and hairdressing within 9 months amongst the 14-17 year-old socially vulnerable teenagers from the 2nd Night Care Center of Nubarashen Community and amongst youth from socially unsecured families of the same community. To promote intellectual development and socialization of the youngsters, informative trainings on ethics, human rights, social skills development, career orientation and other topics will be organized at the beginning of the project. Various events will be organized and implemented during the program aiming to help teenagers in integrating into the society smoothly, as well as in finding workplace in the future.

 

 

Regional Children Action for Participation
January 2011-April 2012


The Regional Children Action for Participation (ReCAP) program aims at preparing children in the South Caucasus to be active citizens. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by "Save the Children" international organization in partnership with "The Future Is Yours" NGO.

 


"Education as Means to Prevent Corruption"
February – August 2011


The Organization with the support of USAID MAAC project is implementing "Education as Means to Prevent Corruption" project. The project is aimed at promoting anticorruption education insertion at RA vocational and higher educational institutions.

 

"Youth against Corruption"

With the support of the OSCE Office in Yerevan the organization is implementing "Youth against Corruption" project, which is aimed at shaping analytical and constructive way of thinking, intolerant attitude towards corruption, skills of working within a team and civil activity and participation amongst the youth. Within the framework of the project five-day anticorruption trainings, discussions, debates, quizzes and summer anti-corruption camp was organized for the youngsters. "Youth Against Corruption" project participants investigated such laws of Republic of Armenia as Law on Graduate and Postgraduate Professional Education, Law on Ensuring Traffic Safety and Law on Medicine. The youngsters revealed possible ambiguities and addressed with respective propositions to the authorities.

 

 

"Democracy Wheel" project
August- December 2011


"The Future Is Yours" NGO with the support of US Embassy Yerevan is implementing "Democracy Wheel" Armenia-Turkey project. The goal of the project is to support to peace and cooperation between two neighboring countries’ societies as well as in the region, to diminish current tension, and to develop tolerant atmosphere and mutual respect.
